Laura Henn ist seit September 2014 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Doktorandin in der Abteilung Sozial- und Persönlichkeitspsychologie der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg. Sie studierte Psychologie an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg und an der Universität Göteborg mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Kognitionspsychologie und Umweltpsychologie. Sie hat Lehrerfahrung in den Bereichen Differentielle Psychologie, Sozialpsychologie, Präsentationstechnik und Rhetorik. Sie ist Mitglied der Initiative Psychologie im Umweltschutz (IPU e.V.) und der Fachgruppe Umweltpsychologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPs).

Laura Henn ist als Doktorandin im BMBF-geförderten Projekt ENavi tätig und forscht zum Zusammenwirken von Kontextfaktoren und individueller Nachhaltigkeitsmotivation auf nachhaltiges Verhalten und nachhaltige Lebensstile. Weitere Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich Spillover-Effekte, Suffizienz als individuelle Genügsamkeit und Förderung der individuellen Nachhaltigkeitsmotivation.

Thematisch befasst sich ihre Forschung mit Carsharing und nachhaltiger Mobilität, Stromsparen durch Feedback, individueller Suffizienz und deren Zusammenhang zu nachhaltigem (d.h. ressourcenarmem) Konsum.
