Our research
Our research focuses in particular on the psychological conditions for good and healthy work. We are interested both in the stresses and resources encountered in everyday working life and in the social processes that shape the experience of work.
Key areas of research include:
-
Work-related stress, health and recovery: How do work demands and resources affect health and well-being? What role do recovery and sleep play?
-
Appreciation, fairness and social relationships: How do appreciation, respect and perceptions of fairness influence the experience and behaviour at work?
-
Work organisation and changes in the world of work: What opportunities and challenges arise from new forms of work, changing career paths and organisational changes?
-
Diversity, inclusion and participation: How can work and living environments be designed to take different needs into account and break down barriers?
Our research combines theoretical questions with empirical studies and practice-oriented projects. In doing so, we collaborate with academic and non-academic partners.
