Professional experience

Since August 2019 Franziska Gehlmann has been working as a research assistant in the Division of Environmental at OvGU Magdeburg. In the interdisciplinary project AuRa she is engaged in the issue of human-technology-interaction regarding an autonomous call-a-bike service.
She studied the Bachelor’s program in psychology at Technical University of Braunschweig and finished her degree with a thesis on highly-automated driving in the Division of Engineering and Traffic Psychology. She came to Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg for her Master’s program in psychology with the focus on environmental psychology and human-technology-interaction. In her thesis she investigated people’s motives for buying their first own car.
