Dr Reshanne Reeder

Currently I am a postdoc on the CBBS ScienceCampus grant "A multifaceted individual differences approach to investigating nonretinal vision".reshanne

From March-June 2018 I was a postdoc on the OVGU FEM-POWER Bridge grant "Visual hallucinations during low contrast image detection".

From 2014-2018 I was a postdoc on the multi-national grant "Tracing the Template".

Education
PhD:  CIMeC, University of Trento, Rovereto, Italy, 2014
Thesis: The search template for object detection in natural scenes: Contents and characteristics, neural underpinnings, and individual differences

Research Interests
My research focuses on how internally generated knowledge shapes visual perception. Specifically, I am interested in what is called "nonretinal vision", or vision in the absence of external stimulation. This includes visual imagery, visual working memory, preparatory templates, misperceptions, and hallucinations.
